Second Semester Scheduling Updates!

Hello everyone! 

We hope your second semester has had a great start! Below you will find the schedules for the Amity Writing Center for this semester. Please remember that if there isn't a student tutor available, that you can always meet with the teacher on duty. 

Also, you will be seeing QR codes on our new flyers. You can use these to go straight to the Session Request to sign up for a tutoring session!

As always, come in to the writing center for help on any type of writing, in any stage of the process. Science, history, English, etc, all are welcome. Just got an assignment and need help planning? Come on in. Want to review an assignment that was already graded to get ideas on how to prepare next time? Come on in! Need help deciding what else to write about on a given assignment? You get the idea...come in!

We hope that you remember to come to the Writing Center for any of your writing needs, for a place to study, for a place to spend your study hall in a relaxed and open environment. If you would like writing assistance and there is no tutor on duty, please remember to speak to the teacher on duty who can help you with your writing as well. And whenever possible, sign up early for a tutoring session to give us time to accommodate your request!

Revised Peer Tutor Schedule for May

Due to AP Testing the weeks of 5/1 and 5/8, the schedule had to be altered and study halls may not have tutors available.

At the start of Senior Internship, Periods 3 and 7 will not be covered and you will need to meet with the teacher on duty instead.

Here's a quick view of the current schedule for student tutors and the Amity Writing Center. Please use the Session Request form link on the right to make an appointment.  If for some reason a tutor is not available you can meet with the teacher on duty in the Writing Center as well.
