Continuing schedule for Writing Center Tutor Availability

Here's a quick view of the current schedule for student tutors and the Amity Writing Center. Please use the Session Request form link on the right to make an appointment.  If for some reason a tutor is not available you can meet with the teacher on duty in the Writing Center as well.

The Amity Writing Center is run by students for students, and we are here to help you. If you need help understanding assignments, brainstorming, organizing, or reviewing pieces of writing, the writing center is an excellent resource. 

To make an appointment, go to our website: amitywritingcenter.blogspot.com and fill out a session request form. We will get back to you as soon as possible to let you know who is available.

Amity Writing Center Fall 2016!

Autumn is here and the marking period has sped by. The Writing Center is open for students to come and receive writing assistance!

At this time we have tutors available during periods 2 and 7 (on C-D days). This will hopefully increase as the year goes on. Please remember to check the tutor availability in the Calendar/Availability link on the right side of the page.

To schedule an appointment, go to the Session Request Form link on the right side of the page.

To get quick feedback on part rather than all of your essay, click on the Amity Writing Center Help Desk link on the right side of the page.

For self-checks of your writing, use the Self-Revision Checklist link on the right.

Do you feel you have not reached your full potential as a writer? Would you like to have an extra set of eyes look over your writing? Then this is your chance to become a better writer! Come to the Writing Center to meet with one of our highly trained student tutors. The Writing Center is open to all grades, and our tutors are here to help you with writing in any and all subjects.

Click on the Session Request Form or talk to us in person in Room 103 to schedule an appointment with a tutor (we also accept walk-ins). Don’t forget to check out the website’s new features including the Help Desk, the Virtual Tour, and a Writing Checklist. We look forward to seeing you in the Writing Center!
